Bangalore blasts leave Oz worried about 2010 Games
New Delhi: Australia has expressed new concerns over the security for the Commonwealth Games after five crude bombs were found in Bangalore over the weekend near the city's Chinnaswamy stadium.

Two of those exploded on Saturday, minutes ahead of the Indian Premier League (IPL) match scheduled for that afternoon; another was discovered later and was apparently meant to go explode when the match ended.

The IPL has moved the semi-finals from Bangalore to Navi Mumbai, a move that has upset those in charge of Bangalore's security. (Read: Bangalore police chief slams IPL over venue shift)

Sources tell NDTV that the Indian Mujahideen is suspected to be linked to the Bangalore bombs, and that the intent was to deter foreign participation in the Commonwealth Games.

Sources also say that the way the bombs were composed and placed suggests that the terrorists who handled them are amateurs.
