Avoid Exam Pressure, PM Modi Tells Students on 'Mann ki Baat' Radio Address
New Delhi:

Prime Minister Narendra Modi today asked the students of Class XII who will be appearing for board exams next month to avoid exam pressure in his radio address 'Mann ki Baat.'

Following are the highlights of his speech:

  • I am here with you in this time, as you are preparing for your exams
  • I have been an ordinary student. I have not scored exceptionally well in the exams I gave and have a poor handwriting also
  • People feel if an exam goes wrong everything will change. But it is not like that. Do not take so much tension
  • A good batsman is thinking about the ball he is facing not about the match, or series. He is thinking about the present
  • Sometimes we think too much about the future or are lost in the past. Can't do that during exam time. We need to be in the present
  • Many students get nervous during exam time... I don't think one should get nervous, have faith in yourselves
  • Your efforts will not go in vain. Have faith on what you have studied
  • Every child of this nation must be happy. Give the exam happily, with a smile on your face. I am sure you will do well
  • The brighter your future is, the brighter India will be. It is you who will shape India's future
