Arrested Pak terrorist makes confessions

Arrested Pak terrorist makes confessions
Jammu:

For years, India has been saying that terrorists have been coming into Jammu and Kashmir, and Pakistan has been in a state of permanent denial.

Well, here's a fresh proof - a press conference addressed by a terrorist caught by the Indian Army.

"I was trained in a jungle near Mansera. Then I moved to Kashmir through Sonar in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. Ours was a group of four organisations - Hizbul Mujahideen, Lashkar-e-Toiba, Jaish-e-Mohammad and PPR. It was a group of about 120 men. It included about 31 militants, the rest of them were porters and guides," said Syed Moinullah, the Pakistani terrorist.

"We get trained in three modules - 21 days, 40 days and three months. Every terrorist group has their own training centres. Taliban has their own as well. We have no contact with Taliban, neither do we work with them," he added.

Syed Moinullah was caught by the Indian Army on the Shamshabari Range a few days ago when he infiltrated India with 100 others.

The terrorist said that he and the other terrorists were carrying with them 32 kg RDX, 13,000 rounds of ammunition, rocket launchers, grenades and AK-47s.

The Army however says that not all who came across were terrorists, and some of them have already been killed.

"Let me clarify, there were only 31 terrorists," said Brigadier Gurmeet Singh, commander, general staff, 15 corp.

The army claims that the porters, guides and snowbeaters - these are people who cover the tracks once the group has crossed - have gone back to Pakistan.

Despite the diplomatic pressure built on Pakistan after 26/11, this catch and the interrogation of the terrorist clearly indicates the involvement of Pakistan. The big question is what can New Delhi do except increase vigil on the borders.
