Air India holds prayer meet for Mangalore crash victims
Mangalore: Air India CMD Arvind Jadhav and  Civil Aviation Secretary  Madhavan Nambiar addressed a multi-faith prayer meet in Mangalore for the Air India crash victims.

They laid wreaths at the actual crash site and also attended another meet called for the victims' families.

The Air India CMD also announced  that the final compensation to all the families would be given withing three months.

On May 22, 158 passengers on board the Air India plane IX 812 were killed when the aircraft overshot the 'tabletop' runway at the Bajpe airport in Mangalore.

The Dubai-Mangalore flight was carrying 160 passengers and six crew members.
