Hyderabad:
Sankranti celebrations in an Andhra Pradesh village turned tragic on Monday when a jealous youth shot dead another youth who had won a dance competition, police said.
Ropa Kumar, 17, shot dead Kameswara Rao with a locally made revolver in Korada village in Vijayanagaram district after a row. A profusely bleeding Kumar died on his way to a hospital. Rao escaped after the killing.
