Gurgaon:
A senior IPS officer of Haryana cadre died under mysterious circumstances in Gurgaon after he fell from a building, police said on Sunday.
Manjeet Singh Ahlawat, in his mid-fifties, fell from a building last night and was taken to a local hospital where he was declared brought dead, they said without disclosing the name of the building from which the officer fell.
He was posted as Director, Recruitment Training Centre at Bhondsi.
The body has been sent for post-mortem and investigation is on in the matter to ascertain if Ahlawat fell accidentally or it was a case of suicide or murder, police said.
