Ghaziabad:
Scores of people who had booked their flats at a society in Ghaziabad today lodged a complaint with the police against the builder and promoter of the project over the delay in construction.
The protestors gathered at the office of City SP and handed him the complaint.
Gaurv Saxena, who was leading the group, said the builder is delaying the construction of flats even though they had deposited the booking amount for the flats in 2010.
"We were assured by that builder that the possession of flats would be handed over in March 2015 but even after four years the construction of flats is going at very slow pace," he said.
City SP Ajay Pal Sharma said a complaint has been received against the builders and it has been endorsed to Deputy SP (CO City) Anil Yadav for further investigation.
