New Delhi: Bandook Meri Laila, the new song from
A Gentleman, will have you hum its tune all day. Sidharth Malhotra, who plays dual roles in the movie, navigates his way through several gun fights with the ease, with
Jacqueline Fernandez by his side. Sidharth, who also features as the
sunder and
susheel Gaurav, is seen in the persona of the risky Rishi in
Bandook Meri Laila. The new song is actually Rishi's way of telling the world that Kavya (Jacqueline Fernandez) may be his love interest but his actual object of affection is his
bandook. The song will remind many of Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor's
Agent Vinod song
Raabta, where Saif's character holds the fort alone to keep Kareena safe from deadly gunmen.
Sung by Ash King and Jigar Saraiya,
Bandook Meri Laila also has Raftaar rapping at intervals.

Bandook Meri Laila is the fourth song to have released from Sidharth and Jacqueline's new movie after
Baat Ban Jaaye,
Disco Disco and the much talked about
Chandralekha. Apart from fight sequences, the song also offers a glimpse of
Rishi and Kavya's scorching rapport - however, there are no kissing scenes. The Central Board of Film Certification
reportedly chopped a prolonged kissing scene featuring the lead actors by half to have the movie certified U/A.
