UCEED 2017: IIT Bombay Will Declare Result Today; Know How To Check

New Delhi: Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay (IITB) is all set to declare the result for Undergraduate Common Entrance Exam for Design (UCEED) 2017 today. UCEED is conducted for admission to undergraduate design programs offered at IIT Bombay, IIT Guwahati, and IIITDM Jabalpur. This year the exam was conducted on January 22, 2017. The institute had earlier made the answer key for the exam available on the official website on February 1. The institute will activate the result link anytime today and candidates can check their result by entering their exam roll number. 

How to check UCEED 2017 Result

Step one: Go to UCEED 2017 official website: www.iitb.ac.in/uceed/2017

Step two: Click on the UCEED 2017 Result.

Step three: Enter your user login id and password created during registration. 

Step four: Check your result and download your score card.

Candidates who qualify UCEED 2017 will be able to see section-wise marks, total marks, category ranks (if applicable), and Overall Standing. Candidates who do not qualify the exam will only be able to see their section-wise marks and total marks. In order to qualify, candidates must score minimum prescribed marks in each section and total marks. The minimum prescribed marks are different for each category. 

The category-wise minimum prescribed marks  are given below:

General
Section A: 8
Section B: 10
Section C: 12
Total Marks: 100

OBC-NCL
Section A: 7
Section B: 9
Section C: 10
Total Marks: 90

SC/ST/PwD
Section A: 4
Section B: 5
Section C: 6
Total Marks: 50

This year Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology, Delhi (IIIT-D) and Central Institute of Technology (CIT), Kokrajhar, Assam will also allot some seats in their respective B.Des. programs through UCEED.
