GBSHSE 12th Result: Goa Board Declares HSSC Exam Result; Check Now

New Delhi: Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (GBSHSE) has released the result for Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) exam 2017 today on its official website at 10:30 am. The state board exam for class 12 students in Goa were conducted in March. The last board exam was conducted on March 22. The board will distribute certificate cum statement of marks tomorrow from 9:30 am to 1:00 pm. The schedule for marks sheet distribution is given on the board's official website. 

How to check Goa HSSC Exam 2017 Result

Step one: Go to official Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education website: http://www.gbshse.gov.in/
Step two: Open the press release about HSSC exam results. There you would find the url for websites from where you can check your result. 
Step three: Open any of the website address given.
Step three: Enter your exam roll number/seat number and click on submit.
Step four: Check and download your result.

The results booklet will also be made available on the board's official website and can be downloaded by the Heads of Institution for official purpose. 

This year a total of 16901 candidates appeared in the exam with girls outnumbering boys. 8739 girls were registered for the exam while 8162 boys were registered for the exam. 

According to PTI, nearly 89 per cent students passed the HSSC exam of which the GBSHSE today announced the results.

"Total 88.77 per cent students cleared the examination. Out of the 16,521 students who appeared, 14,666 have cleared the exam", said GBSHSE chairman J R Rebello.

As per the GBSHSE, the stream-wise passing percentage is: 88.12 per cent for science, 87.53 per cent (arts), 96.70 per cent (commerce) and 88.15 per cent (vocational) Rebello said total 23 schools reported 95 per cent and above result.

The board would be holding supplementary examinations on June 8.
