Delhi University will commence the application process for Post Graduate, M.Phil., and PhD courses tomorrow. Earlier the application process for PG and research courses was due to commence on May 31 but was postponed.

DU Admission 2017: Online Application For PG Courses To Begin Tomorrow

New Delhi: While there is still no news on the commencement of application process for UG entrance-based courses, the university will commence the application process for Post Graduate, M.Phil., and PhD courses tomorrow. Earlier the application process for PG and research courses was due to commence on May 31 but was postponed due to certain unavoidable circumstances. The application process will begin online and students would have the facility to submit application fee in the online mode as well. 

This year the university has also begun DU Pre-Entrance Summer School program which is basically a free coaching program for students belonging to Economically Weaker Section (EWS/BPL), SC, ST, OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) and Economically backward Minorities , Pwd, Kashmiri Migrants, Wards / War -Widows / Ex-servicemen (Defense). The registration for the same has been extended till June 10, 2017. 

The free classes will be held for post-graduation admission test in five disciplines - English, Law, Mathematics, Physics, and Zoology. The application forms are available for download on the university's official website and can be submitted at ILLL, Opposite SGTB Khalsa College, DU, North Campus.

The entrance exam for post-graduation courses will be objective in nature. However, for certain courses, there might be a few subjective questions as well. The exam pattern and other details will be released along with the online application form tomorrow. 

In another news, the university has decided to scrap online entrance exam. The university had earlier decided to conduct entrance exam in both offline and online mode but has abandoned the idea in favor of only offline exam.
