Indian Allegedly Kills Wife, 21, Inside Dunkin' Donuts Restaurant in US

Bhadreshkumar Chetanbhai Patel allegedly killed his 21-year-old wife in Dunkin' Donuts in US.

Washington:

A 24-year-old Indian national has allegedly clubbed to death his wife inside the kitchen of a Dunkin' Donuts restaurant in the US where they both were employed.

21-year-old Palak Bhadreskumar Patel was found beaten to death inside the restaurant kitchen in Maryland.

Her husband Bhadreshkumar Chetanbhai Patel is the suspect, police said.

Both the husband and wife were Dunkin' Donuts employees.

Police are now asking for the public's help to track down the husband, who is considered dangerous.

"We are treating this as domestic-related, not random. Again, they were husband and wife and lived together in the area here," CBS-Baltimore quoted Justin Mulcahy, Anne Arundel County police as saying.

The call to police came in around 11 pm on Sunday when a customer noticed no employees at the Dunkin' Donuts on Arundel Mills Boulevard.

"We have officers that work in this area. One of the officers came to the business and found the victim," Mulcahy said.

The victim's family was seen entering the Dunkin' Donuts.

A manhunt has been launched to trace the husband.

Metro Crime Stoppers are offering a USD 2,000 reward for any information leading to the suspect.
