New Delhi:
A teenage girl was raped allegedly by her neighbour in a car in northwest part of the national capital.
The incident was reported from Kanjhawala on Saturday and the accused, a 21-year-old barber, was arrested after the girl's family filed a complaint.
According to the complaint, the girl had gone out with the man, who raped her in a car.
The incident came to light when the accused and his four friends dropped the girl near her house, police said adding that some neighbours questioned them leading to an altercation.
The man fled from the scene but was later arrested.
Medical examination of the girl has confirmed rape.
