The minimum temperature in Delhi at 8.30 AM was recorded at 26 degrees Celsius.
It was a pleasant morning in the national capital with overnight showers bringing down the minimum temperature to 26 degrees Celsius, two notches below normal for this time of the year.
"The minimum temperature at 8.30 AM was recorded at 26 degrees Celsius and the humidity was 60 per cent," a MeT official said.
The rainfall recorded overnight was 0.3 mm at Safdarjung observatory, 2.4 mm at Palam observatory and 15.2 mm in ridge area.
The weatherman has predicted a cloudy day ahead with possibility of thunderstorm towards the evening.
"The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to settle around 39 and 26 degrees Celsius," the official added.
Yesterday, the maximum temperature was recorded at 40.7 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature was pegged at 29.5 degrees Celsius.
