A 14-year-old girl was allegedly raped by her stepfather at their residence in southwest Delhi, police said on Tuesday.
The 37-year-old accused has been arrested based on a complaint filed by his wife, a senior police official said.
He said the man raped the teenage girl on Monday night at their residence in Mahavir Vihar when the victim's mother was not at home. He fled after the incident.
"The accused has been arrested after the victim's mother registered an FIR against him," the official said.
The woman, in her complaint, said her husband had attempted rape on the girl in 2009 but he convinced his wife not to complain to the police at that time.
