Metro services delayed due to signalling cable theft

New Delhi: Metro services in the national capital were delayed late Tuesday night on the Noida line as trains were run on restricted speed between two stations due to theft of the signalling cable.

Due to the theft, trains between Indraprastha and Yamuna Bank stations on the Line 3 (Dwarka Sec-21-Noida City Centre/Anand Vihar) were delayed, a DMRC spokesman said.

"Trains between the two stations were run on restricted speed in manual mode," he said, adding that there was not much impact as the train frequency usually remain low during the late evening hours.
