Humidity levels soared today morning and the minimum temperature settled at 23.6 degrees Celsius after heavy rains lashed the national capital overnight.
"The minimum temperature recorded at 8.30 am was 23.6 degrees celsius, two notches below normal. The humidity level was 89 per cent," a MeT official said.
"The rainfall recorded overnight was 56 mm," he added.
The weatherman has predicted moderate to heavy showers during the evening.
"Sky will turn cloudy afternoon onwards and moderate to heavy showers could occur in some areas," the official said.
The minimum and maximum temperatures are likely to settle at 24 and 35 degrees Celsius.
Yesterday, maximum temperature was recorded at 35.2 degrees Celsius, whereas minimum settled at 26.2, both one notches above normal for this time of the year.
