Today's morning in New Delhi was sultry as the humidity level was recorded at close to 90 per cent, the Meteorological Office said.
The weather office said some areas in the city are likely to get rain in the day.
"It will be a cloudy day. The maximum temperature is likely to be around 33 degrees Celsius," an official of the India Meteorological Department said.
Monday's maximum temperature was 34.6 degrees Celsius, one notch above the season's average, while the minimum was 27.9 degrees Celsius, also a notch above the season's average.
