Humid Day In Delhi, Light Drizzle Later In The Evening

The national capital recorded relative humidity of 86 per cent, a MeT Department official said.

New Delhi: Delhi-ites woke up to a very humid day today with the minimum temperature settling at over 25 degrees Celsius.

Heavy rains had lashed parts of the city last evening resulting in water logging and traffic jams in several areas.

The Safdarjung observatory had recorded 14.8 mm of rains, Palam 18.2 mm and Lodhi Road 33 mm.

No rainfall has occurred between 5:30 pm yesterday and 8:30 am today, the official said.

The weatherman has forecast light drizzle later in the day.

"The maximum temperature is likely to be 34 degrees. It will be generally cloudy sky with light drizzle towards the evening," he said.

Yesterday, the maximum and minimum temperature were recorded at 35.1 and 26.8 degrees Celsius respectively.
