New Delhi: Delhiites woke to a hot, sultry Friday morning, as the minimum temperature settled a notch above average at 25.8 degrees Celsius. The Met office has forecast a clear day ahead.
"The skies will remain clear and the maximum temperature is expected to hover around 35 degrees Celsius," an official of the India Meteorological Department(IMD) said.
Humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 82 percent.
Thursday's maximum temperature was two notches above average at 35.5 degrees Celsius, while the minimum settled at 26.1 degrees Celsius, a notch above the season's average.
