The Met Office has forecast a partly cloudy day.
"The sky will become partly cloudy later in the day," said an official of the India Meteorological Department.
The maximum temperature is likely to hover around 40 degrees Celsius.
Humidity at 8.30 a.m was 45 percent.
Tuesday was warm and humid with a maximum temperature of 40.3 degrees Celsius, four notches above the season's average. The minimum was 28.6 degrees Celsius, a notch above the season's average.
