Delhi: Narendra Modi to hold rally on Saturday

New Delhi: The BJP's prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi will be addressing the residents of west and south Delhi to vote for him and his party at his public rally in Dwarka on Saturday.

According to the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), the rally at DDA Park in Sector 14 at 5 p.m. will cover 10 assembly constituencies of west Delhi and two of south Delhi - Palam and Bijwasan.

"BJP candidates from the 12 constituencies will attend," said a party official.

Unlike Mr Modi's earlier extravagant "Vikas Rally" at the Japanese Park in north Delhi's Rohini sub-city Sep 29, the Dwarka rally would be "simple" and incur "minimum expenses".

Mr Modi will also be addressing two more rallies in Delhi -- November 30 and December 1, just days before the December 4 assembly polls. The November 30 rally will be held in East Delhi, New Delhi and Chandni Chowk, while December 1 rally will be held in Ambedkar Nagar in South Delhi.

"The agenda of the rallies would be highlighting party's plans for development of the city while exposing the Congress' misrule of 15 years," said BJP's Delhi unit president Vijay Goel.
