It was a hot Sunday morning in Delhi with a minimum of 28.6 degrees Celsius, a notch above the season's average. The Met Office has forecast a clear day.
"The sky will remain clear. The maximum temperature is likely to hover around 44 degrees Celsius," said an India Meteorological Department official.
Humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 38 percent.
Saturday's maximum temperature settled five notches above the season's average at 44.9 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature was recorded three notches above the season's average at 30.8 degrees Celsius.
