Delhi: High Humidity Leaves the Residents Sweating

New Delhi: Delhiites today woke up to a humid morning with humidity levels crossing 90 per cent. The minimum temperature settled at 25 degrees Celsius, which was one notch below normal.

According to the weatherman, the city recorded 82.1 mm rain during the last 24 hours ending at 8.30 AM.

"Sky will remain generally cloudy and light rains and thundershowers may occur in some parts of the national capital today," said a Met department official.

The maximum temperature is expected to climb up to 32 degrees. Yesterday, the maximum temperature was recorded at 32.5 degrees Celsius, a notch below the normal while the minimum settled at 27.7 degrees Celsius, a notch above normal.

Widespread rains lashed the national capital region yesterday keeping the mercury below normal levels even as people faced major traffic snarls at many places.
