New Delhi: A day after a 25-year-old woman committed suicide by jumping from the terrace of a metro station in Gurgaon, a similar incident was reported from the Capital today.
According to reports, an unidentified woman killed herself by jumping from the Kirti Nagar metro station. The police are trying to ascertain her identity. More details are awaited.
Priyanka Khandelwal, the 25-year-old who committed suicide on Thursday, was an HDFC Bank employee. After she jumped from the MG Road Metro station, she sustained serious injuries and was rushed to Medicity Hospital. Later, she later succumbed to her injuries.
According to the police, Priyanka had filed a case of dowry harassment against her in-laws and husband Nitin Khandelwal, who works as a chartered accountant in Delhi.
