The race is over. The mood is jubilant all over. True to the surveys, America has voted Barack Obama as the new US President.

The results of the US Presidential elections have long been awaited and debated, and the outcome now, will affect the rest of the world almost as much as it affects America itself.

As America chose 'change', the debate as to what made Obama the unquestionable choice continues.

And given how crucial a role the next man in the White House will be playing in global affairs, here's a platform where you tell us why India loves Obama and what he, as a President, means for India?

Finally ! A politician with a self-less vision. A person who has 'been there, done that', hence he understands the needs of the common man.He is the right 'change agent', who will use the right approach.. he is the real deal..I wish him all the best...

A historic moment in time to see the change of world view to overwhelmingly support Obama for becoming the President. His charisma & conviction appear to be straight from the heart & hope he will truly be committed to transform the economic situation into a sustainable model.

Navin Quadros , Mumbai :

Mr Barack Obama has the conviction and committment to bring change in America. Essentially America needs a strong leader who does not let emotions and personal agenda sway the decision making process. I believe that the Obama Biden team display this hope of a strong leadership.

Though there is a lot of hype where Obama may be bad for India's Outsourcing industry, there is the strong need today for India to develop value addition to its Outsourcing capabilities and not be content to deliver copycat process duplications. Being from the IT Industry myself, I believe that Obama's call for utility based outsourcing by American firms, will provide India with the right environment to innovate and develop superior outsourcing capabilities.

Really great Victory. Hope he shall come up with better economical changes and take up the prevailing financial crisis world over. How better this change shall help India, is yet to be seen.
