Dear Naghma.. Thanks so much for devoting an episode of your show on the issue of homosexuality. It probably was the only honest discussion i have seen on homosexuality on Indian TV. i'm gay myself and am apprehensive about coming back to India due to this. i may think of settling down here rather than risk coming back home. Being gay is illegal in India, for heavens sake!. Following the lead of one of the guys on the show, i have recorded a 'coming out' tape which i would send to my parents shortly. They are pious Christians and may find it difficult to understand, though thanks once again,

dear sir/mam i am greatly impressed by your efforts and your show. i would like to recommend someone for your show 'salaam zindagi' she is a young lady(single), and from the past 4-5yrs. she is countinuously working all alone, educating the poor children, although she is not financially strong still all her efforts are towards educating the poor. she even opted a feild, completely out of track from her personal interest to earn. i wud really love , if u cud look into the matter, and if found suitable, take necesary actions.

I am a 41 year old man.I have a daughter who is about 9 years. As she is the only child she is badly pampered with choclates and other junk food. She is overweight for her age.I wanted to take up some game so that she should stay fit and also lose weight. All my motivated talks failed. She was quite happy with watching cartoons and palying with dolls. There was no real physical activity to burn calories. In order to be her role model, I started playing Tennis so that she could get some inspiration.First few weeks, it was tough for me as I returned to playing areana after many years and also after two operations. But I was determined to carry it forward for my daughter's sake.Intially, my daughter was not impressed but slowly she started noticing me.One day she expressed a desire to accompany me to the club. She watched me playing and refused to touch the racquet. The next day she expressed a desire to try few shots. She missed all of them but I encouraged her to try the next day.Slowly, she started hitting the balls in all directions and may have got the thrill.Very soon, she became a regular player and is upset the days she misses her class.I would like to inform all that parents should take the lead and be prepared to practice what they preach.

It pains me to see so many kids out there just waiting to be taken home to a loving family. Every child deserves a home and we can make this possible just by easing adoption norms in this country.
