On a day when India gives NDTV awards of excellence it baffles me to see emergency services and health care is not getting the impetus it needs. Seven storey building on fire ; fire brigate can't get ladders up more than three floors, nets can't hold people jumping. Does each state have strategy for disaster and infrastructure to support it. We now have action plan for terror alert. The day somebody can get their relative to an accident and emergency in ten minutes I think the growth we are seeing is worthwhile. NDTV please focus on medical and emergency disasters to get the government to fund to build these infrastuctures. I may sound like a critic but still feel very patriotic about anything Indian We need SRK or Karan JOHAR to do a film to kindle the thought of the infrastructure of emeregency services in INDIA. I am sure a good music will be the icing on the cake.

Asha Bhosle explains 'Machchar Raj' malaria tweet
In recent years Raj Thackeray has been in the news for all the wrong reasons and this Maratha manoos simply likes it. A rabble rouser and demagogue to the core, he has given competition to none other than his own aging and agonizing uncle Bal Thackeray from whom he learnt the art of demagoguery and divisive politics.
NDTV Indian of the Year 2009
