I am studying in New Mexico. Yesterday I got chance to visit a concert organized by Indian people. And you can see American people and kids participating in the programs. They dance on Indian tunes with Indian people. If American people can allow non-US citizens to celebrate their festive then why an Indian is not allow to speak a certain language in Maharastra. I hate my country and its countryman because we are never Indian. Some time we are from backward caste or upper caste, Hindu or Muslim, UP or Maharastra when we gonna be Indian rather than all this nonsense. China is right Indian should be divided into different states. Shame on India and its people.

I think there are valid concerns on both sides, see in India there is corruption and lawlessnessin every state but in some states there is only corruption and lawlessness.I think migration is OK if it is in limit and two way. Some states are progressing inspite of evrything and suddenly a huge army of people flock in willing to work at much lower rates and thus making locals unemployment also adding to the burden on resources like land and water. Also the matter is that those states have such a bad law and order states that we cannot go there and do any buisness or job, forget politics. But they come here are given right to do it comfortably. Also population of these states are growing at much fater rates than others, so I think goverment should think on this aspect too.

It all starts from poverty in the
case of manual labour and urban "so-
called" educated who do not want
to do this type of work.Migration
for work is natural. Why,NRI are in
millions.So one-upmanship in
political leaders is more out of
bankruptcy of slogan."India Shining"
did not pay dividends at the 2004
elections while "garibi hatao"did.
So the answer is YES- Damage is
done but cannot quantify it.Life
is reduced to survival of the
fittest
There can be no barometer to
measure.
The question is not how much damage.
What is the Solution? If Abhishek
Varshney can scan the NREG-II that
includes all the Pro-people
initiatives of UPA-II, we may find
some answer.

Mark Twain noted that “No man’s life, liberty, or property is safe while the legislature is in session.” This saying is true till date. Law makers are often law breakers. More often, they are law bwnders1: Heriditary succession as political heads is the order of the day. Unless we, the well educated decide to give a turn to politics in our country, our future generations may mot have the right to live in our own land and we will be seen as aliens in a land ruled by the ill-educared for the illiterates. In that sense, our interference in politics, though be by outsiders, that is to say by well educated mass, will be in the right direction. Unless we keep our house clean and tidy, we have no right to comment on the topic under discussion. Let us begin now and here.
