The Congress's clean sweep in the assembly elections in three states -- Maharashtra, Haryana and Arunachal Pradesh has left the BJP camp dejected with the mood among the BJP cadres expectedly downcast. The party, reeling under a severe crisis since the Lok Sabha defeat, has now lost further ground after the BJP-Shiv Sena alliance fell below its expected three-digit score in Maharashtra. Have the results diminished the bjp as an effective opposition party?
