NDTV
Sonia Singh Two women - one a journalist returning from a late night shift from work, found shot dead near Vasant Vihar, in September 2008. And the other, a Hewitt Associates employee, first abducted and then killed last week - also near Vasant Vihar.

Two murders that seemed to have brought life to a standstill.

And now, NDTV has learnt that the police may have found the killers of both Saumya Vishwanathan and Jigisha Ghosh. According to sources, the police say that the same men are responsible for the murders of both women.

However, these brutal murders in the capital have raised many a question - a question that beats every time such horrific crimes are committed in the heart of Delhi.

Are women unsafe in Delhi? Especially for those whose work require late night shifts and thus are out on the roads, alone while returning home - who takes responsibility of their safety? Has the system failed to ensure security to women at night? What will it take to stop such incidents from happening again?

On Verdict, join Sonia Singh for a discussion on 'MURDERS ON THE NIGHT SHIFT'.
