With a magisterial enquiry establishing Ishrat Jahan's killing in Gujarat as a fake encounter, the question we are asking is, are encounter killings necessary?
While some voices within the Congress have branded the Gujarat govt as a man-eating government, the party itself is caught on a backfoot over its Gujarat affidavit,submitted in the Gujarat High Court, that states that Ishrat and three others were members of the Lashkar-e-Toiba.
