 With the euphoria of a thumping mandate settling down, the new government now has its task cut out before Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee rises to deliver his Budget speech on July 6. The importance of this Budget cannot be underscored, given the crucial juncture of India's economic growth in light of the financial meltdown.
Expectations are rising in anticipation of economic reforms and announcements of pro-reform measures by the government.
