In a step to reform the school education system, Union Human Resource Development Minister Kapil Sibal has come up with a plan to scrap the class X examination system.
Sibal not only wants to do away with Class 10 board examination but also set up an evaluation system based on percentiles, not percentages. He is of the opinion that examination-based system causes trauma to both parents and students. Thus making the acquisition of knowledge a stressful exercise.
