Why are people doubting the profitability of the Indian Railways? Why is it so impossible to believe something good can happen in India? The Railway Minister's budget this time speaks of the fact that we are indeed going on a progressive path. Of course it is going to be a test for him - for all that he has announced of his plans, need to come true for sure.

The safety standards definitely need to be checked. The condition of railway tracks and stations are for all to see. It is not a new story. I think the improvement of the current conditions need to be concentrated upon. Once that is upgraded, then we think of newer plans.

The dreams are big and not that hard to realise. But we need to wait until all that's been announced comes true. Experience tells us that our ministers are very good at making promises, but until the deed is done, we need to wait.
