Barkha DuttThe court battle between the Ambani brothers began afresh on Thursday after two Supreme Court judges withdrew from two separate cases, both citing conflict of interest. Now Justice B Sudershan Reddy has replaced Justice Raveendran. The three-judge Bench headed by Chief Justice K G Balakrishnan will start hearing the RIL-RNRL case afresh.

The high-voltage legal battle between Ambani brothers has entered the third week of hearing.

Justice RV Raveendran, one of the judges hearing the high-profile Ambani vs Ambani case, dropped out of the case on Wednesday. He said, "I came to know only yesterday that my daughter is associated with a firm which is advising RIL relating to global acquisitions. My conscience is clear that justice should not only be done but is seen to be done."
