A Newsy Journey 20 years ago, NDTV began its journey on television. With special anniversary programming, we revisit our best stories, from wars and riots, to natural disasters and elections. Our series begins with 1988 First Cut: The World That Week. Over the next few days, we will bring you glimpses of the big events that shook the world. You will also hear from India's leaders what NDTV means to them and why they count on journalism born of 20 years of experience.

Sir Every program in NDTV is good. It gives a good focus. Wish you all the best. Pranoy Ray, Burka, Srinivasan Jain, Sanjai Pinto should serve the society for quite a long. I pray to God to give them long, happy and cheerful health. Thank you again.

City lights shine on the harbour, night has fallen down, through the darkness and the shadow, NDTV will still go on. Long, long journey through the darkness, long, long way to go; but what are miles across the ocean to the heart thats coming home? Where the road runs through the valley, where the river flows, NDTV will follow every highway to the place we know.

BCVRAJU, bcvraju123@yahoo.co.in :

The mumbai terror episode is the most exemplary performance done by NDTV.

NDTV rocks!!! Its one channel i turn to when I need to get authentic credible news without sensationalism and hype. Ndtv has ensured that the news/newsmaker is the news and not the news reporter. And i guess thats what has made NDTV reach 20 and still going strong. Best wishes...and keep up the good work.

Highlights will be the coverage of Glasnost and Perestroika in Russia, Kargill War by Barkha. Also time to remember, Appan Menon, one of Indias finest journalists. My personal favourite was post budget interview of Yashwant Sinha by Prannoy and T.N. Ninan.

Esaivanan, esaivananops.sudanthirakody@db.com :

The most memorable moment on NDTV was the show Good Morning India with sports covered by Gulu Eizekel, later on I got an opportunity to go on air with a question for N S Sidhu and Shonali Chander
