Pakistan has replied to India's request to crack down on terror elements on its soil responsible for deadly attacks in Mumbai.
In the reply, Pakistan has offered joint investigation into the attacks. They have also offered to send a high-level investigating team to assist in probe.
India had lodged a protest last week asking Pakistan to act on terror elements on its soil.
Pakistan says it won't allow its territory to be used by terror groups.
PTI adds: Pak calls envoy to India for consultations
Amid heightened tensions with India following the Mumbai terror strikes, Pakistan has called its envoy to New Delhi for consultations here on the latest situation.
Pakistani High Commissioner Shahid Malik is expected to arrive in Islamabad later this week for discussions with the Foreign Ministry, sources said.
