The only terrorist caught alive after the siege in Mumbai, Ajmal Aamir Qasab, has made some confessions regarding how they planned the attacks. According to intelligence sources, the terrorist told the investigators that there were 10 terrorists who left Karachi on a small boat. They were later transferred to Al-Huseini, a larger boat with raft. When they entered Indian waters, they hijacked a trawler named Kuber. The terrorist also said that there were five crewmembers on Kuber and seven on Al-Huseini. These terrorists transferred four Kuber crewmembers to Al-Huseini and later, killed them. The 10 terrorists who got onto Kuber, retained one crewmember to steer them closer to Indian water. When they neared Bombay shoreline, they killed the crewmember and dumped him in the engine room, the terrorist said. When they were just three-four nautical miles away from the shore, they got into an inflatable raft. The sources added that the terrorists docked at Budhwar Park at Cuffe Parade, a village of fishermen. After that, they took taxis from there in groups of two for their destinations. Two each went to Trident, Bombay VT, Leopold Cafe, Taj hotel and Nariman House. The terrorists in Leopold later on combined with those in Taj and four of the terrorists entered the Taj hotel. The arrested terrorist said they were not attempting to go back and it was a suicide mission, sources said
