Here is one feature that’s a must have for the next gen iPhone. The world is converging and so are devices. This becomes the premise for converting the iPhone into a interactive gaming/social networking console. Scenario 1: The iPhone gets connected to a Gaming console like the PS3/Xbox instead of your game controllers. Each game can design its own gaming controller that is displayed on the iPhone screen. The iPhone acts as your wireless controller with a built in accelerometer, with force feedback, custom controller and special keys on the screen. The best part is that you can have more than one iPhones connected to the system. Updates can be delivered as usual. Scenario 2: The iPhone will enable a “3D Chat” experience. Imagine you are in on SecondLife/Lively; we currently have text and voice chat, imagine if the iPhone connected to your PC could give you feedback in motion like “Hi”, “High Five”, “Bye” and other actions/smiles. This can be enabled with vibration mode, accelerometer. When you fly over islands in Secondlife the iphone can provide feeling of acceleration, stoping, turning etc. It should no longer be called the "Apple iPhone" should now become the "Apple i" – The Human iNterface.
