Expelled Rajasthan BJP MLA Prahlad Gunjal has floated an outfit called Loktantrik Samajwadi Party.
Last year, the BJP had dismissed the Gujjar leader on charges of violating party discipline and making statements "inciting caste discord" during the Gujjar agitation for Scheduled Caste status.
Gunjal has been an MLA from Ramgangmandi in Kota division. During the Gujjar agitation, he had launched a public tirade against Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje and her son, Jhalawar MP Dushyant Singh.
The rebel MLA has now charged both the Congress and the BJP with ignoring people's welfare and appealed to people to "unmask" them. He says his party will field 50 candidates in the assembly elections, and play a major role in government in the state.
His plans are to contest against Vasundhara Raje, no matter from where she enters the fray.
