AWARD PROCESS


Step 1: Identify "Award Categories" and design award process :

  • Identify key sectors in the economy that have helped India move up on the World scale on aspects like contribution to GDP, privatization & globalization, foreign trade etc. Define such sectors as "Award Categories"
  • Design the award process to objectively identify the nominees

Step 2: Develop "Nomination Universe" and short list companies in each category :

  • Identify key companies in each category using information within public domain
  • Undertake research on these companies & sectors
  • Apply Filtering Criteria* for shortlisting companies in each category
    *Filtering criteria varies from industry to industry based on desirable characteristic of leaders in the respective categories

Step 3: Interaction with "Short listed Companies" :

  • Design specific questionnaires for each specific category using parameters* identified for demonstrating leadership. *The parameters are identified to reflect the Company's' performance and relevant aspects which demonstrate its leadership position
  • Forward the questionnaires to all the short listed companies and follow up for completion within predetermined timelines

Step 4:Identify "Nominees" :

  • Assess the performance of the short listed companies using ranking parameters to identify the Nominees (typically top 5 ranks)

Step 5: Jury meeting :

  • Prepare jury docket
  • Participate in jury meeting
  • Suggest the process of selecting final winner to Jury
  • Collate votes given by Jury
  • Ascertain the winner in each category based on the votes received
