It was the Commonwealth Games moment of the day. And it came from boxing.
The medal rounds haven't started but Rahul Gandhi decided to stop by to watch the bouts. Vijender Singh clearly seemed thrilled since he kept waving to the Congress general secretary during his bout.
And when the bout got over, Vijender jumped out of the ring and hugged Rahul.
Vijender, a bronze medalist from the Beijing Olympics, is the overwhelming favourite to win a Gold medal at the Commonwealth Games as well.
