World Book Fair to focus on Games

New Delhi: If you have been scrounging to read about sports but haven't been able to lay your hands on any good book, the upcoming 19th New Delhi World Book Fair beginning on January 30 is a must-visit.

The fair, organised by the National Book Trust (NBT), will see books on all genres and from across the world but the theme this year is "Reading for Commonwealth" in view of the Commonwealth Games in Delhi in October.

According to an official of the NBT, a total of 22 countries will participate in the fair.

"Countries like Singapore, Japan, US, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka will be among the 22 nations participating in the book fair, thereby offering a wide range of books in the fair," an NBT official said.

The book fair will be organised at Pragati Maidan and will culminate on February 7.
