Mumbai: An elderly woman died of burns after a fire broke out at a residential building in suburban Ghatkopar, fire brigade officials said.
Fire broke out on the 15th floor of Presidency Tower, near R-City Mall on Sunday evening.
Lata Duggal, 63, suffered critical burns and was admitted to Rajawadi hospital, where she succumbed.
The cause of fire was not immediately ascertained.
Duggal was alone in her flat and was sleeping when fire broke out, they said.
