Union Minister's aide on morning walk robbed

New Delhi: An aide of Union Minister Bharatsinh Solanki was pushed inside a car and robbed of cash and his mobile phone in the national capital before dumping him at some distance, police said on Wednesday.

Narender, the personal security officer of Minister of State for Power Bharatsinh Solanki, was on a morning walk yesterday when three persons bundled him inside the vehicle near the 6, Kamraj Road residence of the minister, they said.

The robbers took away his mobile phone and cash Rs 2,000 before dumping him on Teen Murti Marg, they said.

Narender left New Delhi with the Minister soon after the incident and police could not record his statement. Further investigating is on.
