Madurai:
Three constables have been placed under suspension for alleged drunken driving, police said on Tuesday.
Madhanraj (22), Prakash (21) and Karthick (21) of the Rural Battalion wing, were travelling on Monday in a bike at high speed, and shouting incoherently, police said.
They did not even notice Madurai SP Asra Garg, who was standing near his car and sped past him, police said. On a direction from Garg, the three constables were detained and found to be drunk.
