Salem (Tamil Nadu):
A 43-year-old man killed six members of his family with a knife at Thaasanayakkanpatti, in Tamil Nadu's Salem district. His father had allegedly denied the man his share of property.
His father, a retired police Inspector, had spent huge money for this elder son's treatment following kidney failure. He gave away his property to his younger son.
The issue is already in the court and on Thursday an enraged Sivaguru murdered all his family members - his father, mother, brother, sister in law, his nephew and niece and surrendered at the Madras High Court.
