Posing as farmer, he planned Bangalore blasts
Bangalore: The recent arrest of suspected Lashkar terrorist Nazeer has revealed an extensive terror network. He is said to have planned terror attacks in Karnataka and Tamil Nadu while in Kerala. He was himself arrested in Bangladesh, and allegedly sent youth for arms training to Pakistan via Kashmir. But the latest from Karnataka reveals that he posed as a ginger farmer to mislead the police.

Hosatota in Karnataka's picturesque Kodagu district looks too serene to be a terrorist hideout, but suspected LeT terrorist Nazeer operated from this farmhouse in the middle of ginger fields.

Police say Nazeer's neighbours had no clue as to his activities.

A shopkeeper Raghu Lal said," "Mostly, he would come in a closed car. He would not mix with any of us. Only once I saw him come with his friends carrying 7-8 boxes."

Nazeer, along with Chhota Haaji Ustad and Yusuf, is reportedly on the wanted list of the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). His name also figures in the Coimbatore blasts and other incidents in Jammu & Kashmir.

Commenting on the terrorist, Bangalore Police Commissioner Shankar Bidari said, "This is the man who plotted Bangalore blasts and today he is paying the price for it.
