Mumbai:
One person was killed and another injured after a portion of a five-storeyed building collapsed in Fort area in South Mumbai today, civic officials said.
A portion of Dhan Mansion opposite Cafe Union came down at 1130 hours killing a labourer, they said.
The deceased has been identified as 22-year-old Sagar Vishwas, who was declared dead on arrival after he was rushed with severe head injuries to the St George Hospital here, civic officials said.
Another injured labourer Rajkumar Dharani is recuperating at the same hospital after he suffered wounds while carrying out the demolition work, the officials said.
